How to Reach

• Airways – Bagdogra Airport (IXB) is the nearest and major airport approximately 100 kilometers away and is served by regular flights of Spice Jet, Indian Airlines, Air Deccan and Jet Airways. There are flights from Kolkata, Guwahati and Delhi. It is well connected to the rest of India. Private vehicles are available from the airport to any of the nearby places of Interest.
• Railways – The nearest major railhead connecting the rest of India is New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP). New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) is on the outskirts of Siliguri approximately 100 kilometers from Kalimpong. New Jalpaiguri (NJP) is approximately 100 kilometers away which is connected with major railway stations of India like Chennai, Guwahati, Delhi, Kolkata, Patna and Mumbai etc. It is also approachable from Bagrakote Railway Station.
• Roadways – There are more than four approach road to Kalimpong from Siliguri. Offshoot of 77 kilometers from National Highway no 31 is Kalimpong and the off shoot of 19 kilometers from National Highway Number 31 A. It is a little over a 95 kilometers from Gangtok, and approximately 55 kilometers from Darjeeling. Kalimpong is located off the National Highway 31 - A, which links Siliguri to Gangtok. It is one of the most centrally located tourist hot spot. Duars, Gangtok, Darjeeling, Pelling are all connected by road to Kalimpong. Linked by two national highways and with good roads it’s a nice tourist spot.
